This artisan pink bird house necklace has a truly one of a kind look!
This detailed piece has art beads from two different makers, Czech Glass Beads in various colours, and recycled black Sari Silk. The necklace has a perfect little polymer clay house focal bead made by Jeni Houser Alasad. The house is detailed on all four sides for a true one of a kind artisan look. Below it is a copper bird charm by Heather Powers. The necklace is made of black recycled Sari silk on one side with small Czech Glass bead details. The other side is full of faceted Czech Glass beads on Waxed Irish Linen. The piece closes at the back of the neck with nickel free copper findings. A slight 1.5 inch adjustment makes it possible for this to hang just a bit lower. I can add more adjustment as needed, please just conversation me before purchasing and I will see what I can do.
The necklace is 18 inches long, with additional adjustment as mentioned above.
A note on this piece: This piece features recycled sari silk. Please take care to treat this as wearable art, keeping the piece dry and not tugging on it too much. A very small amount of loosening may occur with wear, this is normal.

Custom and personalized orders
We birds are truly terrible at custom orders. So we typically don’t offer them. That said. If you fall in love and just need something made special, feel free to reach out and we can see about doing something!
Sizing details
Sizing is in inches. In my photos I try and show the items near my hand, but will always include sizing in my descriptions. If you need a visual of the piece on, feel free to conversation me and the hubs and I can send you a photo, albeit an awkward one since we are both terrible picture takers. 🥰
Also, if you need an adjustment in sizing, feel free to shoot a message and I’ll see what I can do.
Care instructions
Treat any piece from here like a little chunk of wearable art. Meaning, please keep them dry, don’t play sports, wash the dishes, or perform martial arts while wearing. They are made to hold up well under normal circumstances, but some pieces do need a little more gentle love.
Keep all silk pieces dry and don’t tug on them overmuch.
Keep your Waxed Linen Pieces dry and don’t tug too much.
We use natural metals in all our jewelry, so we recommend storing them in an airtight baggie, or box to avoid as much oxidization as possible when they aren’t being worn.
